Damsel In Dior is the fashion influencer people aspire to be. She's creative, hardworking, and a kind person to be around. I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her new pop up store By Damsel. Located in Culver City, CA, Jacey has curated the store with furniture, art, and clothes that will make you feel right at home. I'm even more ecstatic that Vogue has done an article on the store opening and featured my images. It's 8:30AM and I'd say this Friday is off to a great start! If you're in the LA area, be sure to shop at By Damsel.
“We don’t choose the one we can live with, we choose the one we can’t live without.”
These words said by Mr. Morales during his reception speech really touched me, and they’re an accurate summary of Marco and Jessica’s wedding day. I had the pleasure of photographing Marco and Jessica’s wedding on 10/19/2019 at The Club at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton, CA. It was such an incredible day. The weather, decor, and energy of the bridal party and guests were exceptionally radiant.
Marco and Jessica have such a deep love for each other, and for their family and friends. One moment that I found so special was in preparation for the first look. First looks are usually a private moment shared between the bride and groom. Marco and Jessica wanted their bridal party present during their first look because those friendships helped blossom the love and admiration that Marco and Jessica have for one another today. So sweet! Other highlights include a bubble send off following the wedding ceremony, video game inspired speciality cocktails, and a kite. Marco and Jessica fly their kite regularly and wanted to incorporate it into their sunset photos. It made for a great prop and unique photos.
The entire list of vendors were fantastic to work alongside. I highly recommend The Club at Ruby Hill for anyone looking at venues in the Bay Area. Shoutout to Janan Ali for keeping everyone on time, fed, hydrated, and happy! The florals that Susan Keeler arranged are also my favorite floral arrangements this year. The blue and pink colors really pop in the photos!
Congratulations Marco and Jessica Morales! Wishing you two a lifetime of love and happiness.

I had the pleasure of photographing some long time family friends of mine for their holiday card. Meet the Taylor family! Aren’t they a good lookin’ family?! When I found out they’d be wearing denim and boots, I instantly knew where I wanted to take them. This gorgeous white barn is located in San Jose, CA, and has become one of my go-to spots for engagements and family sessions.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and what better thing to do than take some family photos for your holiday card! My sessions last for one hour and we collaborate together on choosing the most ideal location. Afterwards, I’ll send you an online gallery for you to make your selects for retouching. Clients receive high resolution retouched digital files delivered to them through an online gallery where you can download and order prints. Send me an email, grab the whole family, and let’s shoot!
In addition to photographing weddings and engagements, I try to find time to photograph fashion editorials and work with fashion influencers. I initially pursued a career as a fashion photographer. I worked as an celebrity photographer assistant, and had the opportunity to meet the Kardashians, Nick Carter, Yolanda Hadid, Taylor Hill, and many more. I realized that the duration of fashion images is short lived. “In fashion one day you’re in, and the next day you’re out.” Trying to stay afloat with the latest trends became extremely exhausting; I wanted my images to have a lasting impression on my viewers. This desire was the seed that brought me to where I am today as a wedding photographer.
Recently, I set up a photo shoot with Lou from Elite Models. She and I met up in West Hollywood to photograph this gorgeous dress from Zara. I really enjoyed working with Lou, simply for the art of creating. We poured out our emotions to one another, and the result is a beautiful combination of both of our personal journeys.
So you’ve just received your Pixieset online gallery...now what? Here is a detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to navigate through your Pixieset online gallery.
Clients will receive an email from us inviting them into their Pixieset gallery. All of my portfolios are set to private and require a password for viewing. Your password will be found at the bottom of your email invitation.
Simply click on the “View Photos” button and you will be redirected to your gallery home page. Enter in your password to unlock your gallery. Feel free to share the gallery password with family and friends. Anyone you wish to invite is welcome to order prints/canvases, or simply scroll through the photos.
After you’ve entered in your gallery password, you may now scroll through your photos. I offer clients two copies of each photo. One version is a color copy while the other is a black and white copy. By clicking on ether “Color” or “Black & White”, you may view/order any of the variations.
There are four other important buttons found at the top of the gallery. The first is a shopping cart icon (where you can see what all is in your shopping cart), a heart icon (where you can view all of the photos you’ve favorited), a download button (where you can download the entire gallery of images), and the share button (which allows you to share the gallery on any social platform of your choosing).
Click on an image to enlarge the photo. There are several unique features found at the top of the selected photo.
The buttons read “Buy Photo”, “Favorite”, “Download”, “Share”, and “Slideshow”. Each button does the following:
Buy Photo – Pixieset allows users to buy high quality prints with the click of a button. By clicking “Buy Photo”, you have access to purchasing prints, canvases, or mounted prints. Each option varies in size and price. Transactions are completed through PayPal. All sales are final and are for non-commercial use only.
Favorite – Click “Favorite” to add the selected photo to your favorites tab. You can view all of your favorite photos by clicking on the heart icon found at the top of the gallery menu (see gallery navigation).
Download – You are able to download a single photo by clicking on the “Download” button. An email is required when downloading photos (see gallery navigation to learn how to download the entire gallery of images).
Share – By clicking “Share”, you are able to share the selected photo on your social media.
Slideshow – Start a slideshow on your viewing device. The slideshow will begin with the selected photo and transitions to the next numerical photo. You cannot randomize the slideshow or change the speed of it. This feature is a great way to present your wedding/engagement photos when you have company over.
I hope this tutorial helped clear up any confusion you had. If you are in need of further assistance, please email me your question(s) and I’d be happy to help. My goal is to make my photos more accessible for everyone. Enjoy!
