A Lavender Field First: Haley & Katie’s Joyful, Heartfelt Wedding at Hope Ranch

On July 5th, 2025, history was made at Hope Ranch Lavender, where the fields came alive not only with the scent of blooming lavender but with the vibrant celebration of love between Haley and Katie—the first couple to ever tie the knot at this stunning new venue.

Their love story began on a Girls Love Travel trip to Cuba—a fitting origin, as Haley is the powerhouse founder behind the popular women’s travel group. What started as a shared adventure turned into a deep, enduring connection. And now, years later, they stood hand in hand, surrounded by fragrant blooms, ready to say “I do.”

The day began at Cooper Spur, where their closest family and friends gathered under one roof. With laughter echoing through the halls and mimosas in hand, the atmosphere was electric. There’s something so special about getting ready with your whole community right there beside you—it felt like the celebration had already begun.

One of the most poignant moments of the day happened during their first look at a quiet corner of Hope Ranch, where the view of Mount Hood stretched across the horizon. Both Haley and Katie have lost their fathers, and Haley had told me earlier that birds often serve as a symbol of her dad’s presence. She asked me to keep an eye out, and just as they turned to see each other, tears already welling, a hawk soared into view. We stood in awe. It was a gentle, powerful reminder that love never truly leaves us.

Their vows were personal, heartfelt, and deeply moving. To witness two women so madly in love, surrounded by a fiercely supportive circle of chosen family, was nothing short of beautiful. This wasn’t just a wedding—it was a celebration of queer love, of legacy, and of the life they’ve built together.

But don’t let the tender moments fool you—Haley and Katie also know how to throw a party! During the reception, the newlyweds surprised their guests by disappearing briefly, only to return dressed in inflatable unicorn costumes as “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan began to play. The energy was wild, the crowd roared, and Junebugs Music absolutely nailed the performance. It was a moment none of us will ever forget.

From heartfelt vows to hilarious dance floor antics, this day was a perfect reflection of who Haley and Katie are: full of life, love, and a little bit of unicorn magic.
